Prophecy of the Dragons Update

Greetings!

I have a few things for you today. First off, thank you for your interest in the Prophecy of the Dragons series. Whether you are looking in at it for the first time, or have read each book numerous times, I thank you.

Now, for the news. The book that started it all, Dragon Guard, is now free everywhere you get your ebooks. And I don't mean for merely a few days. I'm talking perma-free. You can download it from Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and plenty of other retailers. I'm doing this to get more people into the series. In addition, I've made the second book of the series, Dragon Dreams, 99¢ at all of the above (including the "plenty of other") retailers. And, as of me typing this, it is still free to read with Kindle Unlimited, and will be until June 28 (unless Amazon cancels it before then, as they might since it is no longer Amazon exclusive). Books 3 & 4, Dragon Magic and Dragon Hex, respectively, are still $2.99 at all of the above retailers, and neither are available for free for Kindle Unlimited members. Sorry about that, but it's the price I have to pay for them to be in places other than Amazon.

Now, that's all great news for those who haven't jumped on board the Prophecy of the Dragons series, but what about news that impacts those of you who have already read the series? How about a new book coming soon? I don't have a date yet (other than later this year - August or September is my goal), as I'm still working on it, but I do have a title and cover (which I'll display below). The fifth book in the Prophecy of the Dragons series will be called Dragon Crystal. No big plot reveals yet, but I will tell you that Ben and Andi will find a guard and dragon duo their own age, meet Sasha and Timothy's daughter and her guard, and battle a dangerous guild of mages led by one with more power even than them. How is that possible? You'll have to wait a few more months to find out!

I hope that news excites you, and now, as promised, here's the cover. Thank you for reading, everyone!

New Blog

Howdy All! I feel like I'm heading in a new direction with placing the Prophecy of the Dragons series on Smashwords, making Dragon Guard free and Dragon Dreams cheaper  (more on that in a moment), and creating an email newsletter soon, so I thought a new-look blog was necessary. My old one was a bit of a mess, so I deleted it for a fresh start. I'll be making it look nice and adding a bunch o' info to it in the coming days and weeks, so I figured I'd put all the initial links in this post. And give you a heads up on what's happening and what's going to happen. This'll be fun, so read on! First off, as I said, I put the Prophecy of the Dragons series to Smashwords. You can find the series here .  It means an end to the books being a part of the Kindle Unlimited reading program, but if you have been meaning to read any of the books there, you still have time. I believe Amazon may take them off at any point (from Kindle Unlimited, not the site overall), b...

Dragon Guard and Dragon Dreams

Greetings!  I have a quick update for you on Dragon Guard and Dragon Dreams. I need to unpublish them for the month of June on Smashwords and the affiliated premium sites until they are through their run on Amazon's KDP Select. I recently received a note from Amazon saying that I had violated terms with Dragon Guard since it is not Amazon exclusive, and it will be taken off KDP status if I did not fix this. Not a big deal so far, as I don't want it on KDP anymore. But then they said continued "abuse" of the system could end in my participation in the program being terminated, including as a reader. Since Dragon Dreams is also violating the system, technically, I decided to not play with fire, even if nothing might happen. So, what this means is that I took both books down from Smashwords, and therefore the premium sites. I'll have them both back up in July when they've run their course.  I don't know if Dragon Guard will remain perma-free on Amazon, bu...
