Dragon Crystal is Live!

Hi Everyone!

First off, let me just say that I'm horrible about blogging. I should have had posts about this upcoming release for at least the last week, if not longer. I relied on Twitter, though, as I'm guessing I will continue to do. So, if you're not, make sure you follow my Twitter account: @EJKrauseYA I post most updates there, so if you're not following, go ahead and click it!

Second, and most importantly, as the title of this post says, Dragon Crystal, the 5th book in the Prophecy of the Dragons series, is now live! You can download it at Amazon as a Kindle book. Go ahead and click here. This book not only has a seemingly impossible mage to fight, but also introduces the newest dragon and guard pair into the multiverse. Lizzy is the dragon, not quite a dragon year younger than Andi, and Tyler is her new mate, a Dragon Guard with the power to dull magical energy. Like Ben and Andi were born to fight the undead, Lizzy and Tyler are bound in order to battle the new evil wizard. And, since fate chose them to be bound so young, they must have more power than a typical duo. Add to all that the secret of Lizzy's past, and these two are great additions to the Prophecy of the Dragons universe (or multiverse, if you will).

Below I'll show you both the cover and the official description from Amazon:

A new danger has shown itself in the multiverse!

It’s been a mere week since Ben and Andi stopped the evil coven from obliterating the mortal realm, but there’s no time to rest. The Dragon Council has word of a new threat to the multiverse, a mysterious evil mage who could quite possibly hold more power than Ben and Andi combined. No one knows what he and his guild want, but they know his threat will become a big deal. That is made clear when a new dragon and guard duo are born into the multiverse, these two, Lizzy and Tyler, younger even than Andi and Ben. They have powers that are tailor-made for battling mages, but what will that matter if the source of this new mage’s powers are not uncovered?

Can Ben and Andi find the mysterious crystal that holds the key to victory? Will the evil mage prove too much even for them and their new friends? And can they possibly ever have just one normal week at school?

Dragon Crystal is the fifth book in the Prophecy of the Dragons series. It is approximately 57,000 words in length, and is a contemporary fantasy novel aimed at young adults, though plenty of older adults enjoy the series, too! Get ready for dragons, magic, and swordplay! Have fun with the adventure!

I hope you're excited for this new installment! Until next time!

New Blog

Howdy All! I feel like I'm heading in a new direction with placing the Prophecy of the Dragons series on Smashwords, making Dragon Guard free and Dragon Dreams cheaper  (more on that in a moment), and creating an email newsletter soon, so I thought a new-look blog was necessary. My old one was a bit of a mess, so I deleted it for a fresh start. I'll be making it look nice and adding a bunch o' info to it in the coming days and weeks, so I figured I'd put all the initial links in this post. And give you a heads up on what's happening and what's going to happen. This'll be fun, so read on! First off, as I said, I put the Prophecy of the Dragons series to Smashwords. You can find the series here .  It means an end to the books being a part of the Kindle Unlimited reading program, but if you have been meaning to read any of the books there, you still have time. I believe Amazon may take them off at any point (from Kindle Unlimited, not the site overall), b

Prophecy of the Dragons Update

Greetings! I have a few things for you today. First off, thank you for your interest in the Prophecy of the Dragons series. Whether you are looking in at it for the first time, or have read each book numerous times, I thank you.  Now, for the news. The book that started it all, Dragon Guard , is now free everywhere you get your ebooks. And I don't mean for merely a few days. I'm talking perma-free. You can download it from Amazon , Smashwords , Barnes & Noble , Kobo , and plenty of other retailers. I'm doing this to get more people into the series.  In addition, I've made the second book of the series, Dragon Dreams , 99¢ at all of the above (including the "plenty of other") retailers. And, as of me typing this, it is still free to read with Kindle Unlimited, and will be until June 28 (unless Amazon cancels it before then, as they might since it is no longer Amazon exclusive). Books 3 & 4, Dragon Magic and Dragon Hex , respectively, are still $2.9

Writing Hiatus

Hello Everyone! First off, I want to thank you all for supporting the Prophecy of the Dragons series. I really appreciate it! Second, I'm afraid I have to announce I'm taking an indefinite hiatus from writing. I promised a new series at the end of Dragon Crystal (which I will be removing soon), and I plan to write it at some point, but not soon. I will also get back to Ben and Andi's story, but it may not happen soon. Life changes circumstances, and it's happened for me. In the meantime, you can still read all of the books I've already published, in addition to the five Prophecy of the Dragons books. I hope you still enjoy those, and will be ready for more when I can get back to writing.  Thank you for your patience and understanding. I will bring you more books, but I can't say when.
